Judge Gary Polk of the Riverside Hall of Justice sentenced Jake Haro to 25 years to life in prison for the death of his 7-month-old son, Emmanuel Haro.
Haro faced charges including filing a false police report, murder, assault on a child under 8 years old, and causing death. Though he initially pleaded not guilty, he changed his plea during a felony settlement conference on October 16.
