Acting legend Glenn Close shared why it took her some time to fully understand Ryan Murphy’s latest series, All’s Fair. At 78, the eight-time Academy Award nominee, known for iconic roles like in Fatal Attraction, is expanding her repertoire with a television drama.
On Disney+, Close plays Dina Standish, the formidable matriarch in All’s Fair. The show centers on a group of women who leave a male-dominated law firm to create their own divorce attorney practice.
Though highly acclaimed for her film and theater work, Close is less familiar with TV roles, making this Ryan Murphy project a novel experience. She told PinkNews and other media that it took “a little while” for her to fully “get” the show.
“A team of female divorce attorneys leave a male-dominated firm to open their own powerhouse practice,” says the official synopsis.
The show’s trailer, released last month, received praise for its blend of sharp wit and edge, described as both “insane” and “c***y.”
