Glenn Close shared her experience of revisiting her iconic 1987 thriller Fatal Attraction during a special screening hosted by Kris Jenner at her home. The event took place while filming the new Ryan Murphy legal drama All's Fair, in which Close stars alongside Kim Kardashian.
Kris Jenner, the executive producer of All's Fair, organized the screening after Kardashian revealed she had never seen the film before. Close, 78, revealed to PEOPLE that it had been “a very long time” since she last watched Fatal Attraction.
“It was wonderful to realize that the movie holds up incredibly well. In fact, I think there's almost a whole cultural shift since that movie came out. It was a very special evening.”
About Kardashian's reaction to the film, Close commented:
“It was insane, from the outfits to the boobs to the—”
Close then interrupted herself, adding, “I like that she says outfits first.”
Close also shared a personal insight related to wardrobe:
“I laugh because if [Kim] could see my closet at home, I don’t even know what her reaction would be. Every time I walk into my closet, I think of her.”
She mentioned that she has even negotiated the right to keep wardrobe items from her film sets.
Glenn Close was surprised by how well Fatal Attraction has aged and enjoyed sharing the experience of the film’s distinct 1980s style with Kim Kardashian during a unique screening.
