Derby residents are invited to take part in this year’s Remembrance Sunday events on Sunday, 9 November 2025.
The city’s traditional Remembrance Sunday parade and service will return this November, uniting youth groups, veteran organisations, and community members to honour the sacrifices of the armed forces and emergency services.
The Order of Service is available for download. The service will also be broadcast on a large screen in the Market Place.
This year, troops from the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers 148 Divisional Support Company will not parade, but several local youth and veteran organisations will participate as usual.
The city’s annual Remembrance Sunday parade and service "brings together youth groups, veteran organisations and people from all walks of life to honour the sacrifice of members of the armed forces and emergency services."
Derby’s Remembrance Sunday maintains its longstanding tradition of community remembrance despite changes in participant groups this year.
