Ryan Coogler, Tessa Thompson, Octavia Spencer and Daniel Kaluuya will headline the group of presenters at Michael B. Jordan’s upcoming American Cinematheque tribute. The event will take place on November 20 at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, where Jordan will be recognized as the 39th recipient of the honor.
Coogler and Jordan share one of the most productive partnerships in modern cinema, having worked together on five films as director and lead actor. Their collaborations include Fruitvale Station, Creed, Black Panther, Wakanda Forever, and the recent box office success Sinners.
In Sinners, Jordan portrays twin brothers, Smoke and Stack, in a gritty vampire thriller that has earned $367 million globally, securing its place among the highest-grossing original horror films ever made.
