Remembrance Day Garbage Collection Notice
The Ministry of Public Works and Environment has announced changes to waste collection due to the Remembrance Day holiday on Tuesday, November 11.
Key Details
- Household waste will not be collected on the holiday.
- Recycling collection will continue as usual on Thursday (west end) and Friday (east end).
- Waste scheduled for Tuesday will be collected on Wednesday.
- Friday's waste will be collected on Saturday.
Drop-Off Information
The Tynes Bay Public Drop-Off will be open on November 11 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Afterward, it returns to regular hours, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, daily.
