Chinese electric vehicle maker Xpeng (NYSE: XPEV) announced plans to introduce three new robotaxi models in 2026 and begin trial operations for the service.
The robotaxis will be equipped with four of Xpeng’s in-house developed Turing AI chips, offering computing power up to 3,000 TOPS.

Xpeng plans to release its robotaxi Software Development Kit (SDK) to work alongside global partners in creating an expansive robotaxi ecosystem.

The plan was unveiled by He Xiaopeng during the 2025 AI Day event held in Guangzhou, the company’s headquarters.
