Remembrance Day Parades 2025: Bus Service Changes on Sunday 9 November

On Remembrance Sunday, 9th November 2025, some bus routes will have temporary changes across the county due to parades. Other services may be briefly affected.

Observance of Two Minutes’ Silence

At 11am on Sunday 9th and Tuesday 11th November, bus drivers will observe two minutes of silence. Where it is safe, buses will be parked with engines off. The company invites passengers to join in this national act of remembrance.

Free Travel for Service Personnel and Veterans

NCT offers free travel from 8th to 11th November 2025 inclusive for all serving personnel, cadets, and veterans. To qualify, show appropriate ID or travel in uniform when boarding.

Road Closures and Bus Route Diversions on 9 November

Calverton Parade Impact

On Sunday 9th November, the parade in Calverton affects Sky Blue 61 from 09:00 to 12:00. The following stops will not be served:

East Leake Road Closure and Diversion

Main Street in East Leake will be closed between 10:30 and 11:45 on Sunday 9th November. South Notts 1 buses will be diverted via Main Street, Castle Hill, and Loughborough Road.
