The first trailer for Avengers: Doomsday is reportedly arriving earlier than expected. According to Collider, the preview will be shown ahead of screenings of Avatar: Fire and Ash.
James Cameron's third Avatar film, introducing the Ash People of Pandora, premieres on December 19. This means the first glimpse of Avengers: Doomsday will come nearly a year before the film’s scheduled release on December 18, 2026.
For comparison, Avengers: Infinity War released its teaser about six months before hitting theaters, while Avengers: Endgame began promotion roughly five months before, revealing minimal footage from the first act only. The unusually long 12-month campaign for Doomsday may signal a new level of studio confidence, although that remains unconfirmed.
The film will feature Robert Downey Jr. along with the confirmed casts of Fantastic Four and Thunderbolts. Several heroes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and legacy X-Men characters will also join the ensemble. The complete lineup was unveiled during a six-hour stream in March.
“Avengers: Doomsday could be the biggest film of the decade,” said Channing Tatum, who reprises his role as Gambit, adding fuel to growing fan excitement.
Author’s Resume: Anticipation grows as Avengers: Doomsday debuts its trailer with Avatar: Fire and Ash, marking Marvel’s earliest promotion yet for a crossover of massive scale.
