Elder Gérald Caussé has been appointed as the newest member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
On Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025, Elder Caussé was called and set apart by President Dallin H. Oaks, along with other members of the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.
“I’ve always had a testimony of Jesus Christ. He’s always been in the center of my life. I know He’s our Savior and Redeemer. What a wonderful thing it is to be a witness of Christ. That’s the best responsibility or stewardship we might have in our lives,” Elder Caussé said.
Gérald Caussé, the Presiding Bishop, has joined the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, emphasizing his lifelong faith in Jesus Christ and the significance of his new spiritual stewardship.
