Riley Keough believes she has received signs from her late mother, Lisa Marie Presley, indicating that she was at peace with how her memoir From Here to the Great Unknown was written. Keough completed the memoir after her mother’s death in 2023 by listening to tapes of memories Lisa Marie had recorded.
The actress, known for her role in Daisy Jones & The Six, shared her experience during the Academy x Chanel’s Women’s Luncheon. She expressed her belief in being open to spiritual signs and feeling connected to her mother’s presence.
“I think if you're open to those things, they're kind of everywhere. I really do believe that.
So, I certainly feel connected to whatever that world may be. I do feel connected to it, yeah. There are certainly moments that are very... too weird to not be something.”
Keough plans to explore these moments more deeply in a “heartfelt afterword” included in the paperback edition of the memoir, which is set to be released on November 11 by Penguin Random House.
