A woman recently claimed a $6.25 million jackpot from the Florida Lotto drawing held on October 25. The winning ticket was purchased at the Publix located at 3900 East Bay Drive in Holmes Beach.
Robin Glover, 41, chose to receive her prize as a one-time lump sum of $3,529,535.42, according to lottery officials.
“Since its inception in 1988, Florida Lotto has awarded more than $11 billion in prizes, created 1,105 millionaires, and generated over $8.58 billion for the state’s Educational Enhancement Trust Fund,” stated the Florida Lottery in a news release.
