‘Stranger Things’ Final Season Acting Campaigns Unveiled
Netflix has announced its awards campaign for the fifth and final season of Stranger Things, aiming to secure recognition this fall. The entire acting ensemble is submitted in supporting categories for the Golden Globes, alongside other fall awards, according to Variety.
Golden Globes Submission Details
- All cast members are submitted for best supporting actor/actress in television, separated by gender.
- The series is nominated again for best television series (drama).
- The ensemble cast is entered for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a drama series at the SAG Awards.
- The show’s stunt team has also been submitted for consideration.
These submissions apply exclusively to the fall awards season. Netflix's official plan for the 2026 Emmy Awards has not yet been finalized.
Voting and Competition Notes
For the Golden Globes, voters will only consider the first four episodes of the final season. The SAG Awards, which do not separate lead and supporting roles in television, will have all actors competing in a single category.
- Male actors submitted: David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Jamie Campbell Bower.
- Female actors submitted: Winona Ryder, Millie Bobby Brown, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Maya Hawke.
