The competition on Season 28 of The Voice intensified in the Monday, November 3 episode as coaches continued cutting their teams during the Knockout Rounds. Michael Bublé made show history by using the first-ever Mic Drop, securing one artist a spot in the upcoming Rose Parade performance on New Year’s Day. Each coach—Reba McEntire, Niall Horan, Snoop Dogg, and Bublé—had only one Mic Drop to use and no Saves or Steals, making their decisions final.
Snoop Dogg opened the night with a matchup between Toni Lorene and Natala Albertini, whom he had previously saved in the Battle Rounds. Natala performed Stevie Wonder’s “I Wish,” while Toni delivered an energetic rendition of “Lady Marmalade.”
“Natalia, your performance was spectacular, you’re gorgeous, I love your outfit,” said Reba McEntire. “I guess if I had to pick one, I think I’d go with Natalia.”
“The stuff you can do with your voice … there’s something special about you,” added Niall Horan, calling Toni a “machine.”
Bublé and Horan both leaned toward Toni, while Snoop expressed pride in both singers, saying he felt like “a proud uncle.”
As Knockout Rounds continue, each team moves closer to the Playoffs. Fans will soon have the chance to vote for their favorite Mic Drop pick after all four artists are revealed.
