STV will broadcast a special live programme on Friday from its Pacific Quay headquarters in Glasgow, showcasing the efforts of the STV Children’s Appeal throughout 2025. The show will highlight three key projects supported this year.
Lorraine Kelly, a TV legend and trustee of the STV Children’s Appeal since it started, will host the programme. She will meet various individuals who have contributed to or benefited from the charity’s work over the past year.
In advance of the show, Lorraine Kelly was photographed wearing a kilt and scarf made from a special tartan created by Houston Kiltmakers, a family business based in Paisley. The official STV Children’s Appeal tartan features the charity’s pink, yellow, and blue colours and was designed earlier this year to raise funds.
Kelly said: “Celebrating all the fundraisers and projects involved in the STV Children’s Appeal is always one of the highlights of my year – and this year will be extra special, as I’m heading to Scotland to present the Appeal Show live from STV HQ. I’m looking forward to meeting more incredible people from across the country, hearing their inspiring stories and learning what the work of the STV Children’s Appeal means to them.”
