Top multicultural talent will light up the stage at the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2025.
Fusion Beats 2025, presented by Wilfrid Laurier University’s Hub for Community Solutions, Laurier International Student Support, the City of Brantford, and the Downtown Brantford BIA, with additional funding from Laurier Brantford Grants, promises an electrifying evening of diverse music and dance performances. Admission is free and open to the public.
“Art, culture and community engagement are key priorities in the City of Brantford’s Inclusive City Strategy,” said Brantford Mayor Kevin Davis. “Fusion Beats is an opportunity for local performers to shine while celebrating the diversity that makes our city so vibrant.”
Now in its third year, Fusion Beats attracts hundreds of attendees from both campus and the wider community. The event showcases a vibrant lineup of performers ranging from line dancing groups to Hindi rap artists.
“As exciting as it is performing at Fusion Beats, I also look forward to hearing and seeing the other musicians and performers,” said Akhil Prabhu, a Laurier student and self-taught classical guitarist. This will be his second Fusion Beats appearance, where he will play a set featuring Latin and flamenco rhythms.
This event celebrates cultural diversity and community spirit through a wide array of artistic expressions.
