Apple has officially completed its long-anticipated rebrand of Apple TV+, now simply titled Apple TV. The change is reflected on Apple’s website, which no longer uses the original plus sign branding.
The company released a short YouTube video introducing the new branding. The clip features a colorful animated Apple TV logo accompanied by an original sound composed by Finneas.
"This is just the beginning," reads the title of the video.
"Never thought I'd get to do something like this but I am so honored and truly couldn't have enjoyed working on it more. Hope this very short piece of music feels like it matches the things I love about Apple so much — they make such beautiful tools. Lucky to use them."
The sound created by Finneas will precede every Apple original TV show and film. According to his interview with Variety, there are three versions of the composition:
David Taylor, Apple’s Head of Music, said that Finneas delivered a "completely original sound that feels cinematic and magical."
The updated branding is still being implemented across Apple’s platforms. Currently, some products and apps continue to display the Apple TV+ name until the transition is complete.
The Apple TV+ name officially transitions to Apple TV, marked by a new Finneas-composed sound and a gradual rollout across Apple devices and services.
