Cooper Parry Acquires Hutcheon Mearns

Professional services group Cooper Parry has acquired accountancy firm Hutcheon Mearns, its sixth deal since partnering with New York-based private equity firm Lee Equity Partners.

This acquisition is part of Cooper Parry's plans to reach £1bn in turnover by 2030, with a pro forma turnover now beyond £250m. The company aims to reach £600m by 2028.

Hutcheon Mearns was founded in Aberdeen in 2015 and has a 70-strong team. According to a statement, the firm "shares CP's rebellious, challenger ethos".
