Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif will travel to Brazil to take part in the 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30) in Belém. There, she will present Punjab’s climate transformation efforts on an international platform.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), she announced:
“Departing tomorrow for COP30 Belém, Brazil, taking Punjab’s climate transformation journey from Suthra Punjab to E-Mobility, AQI Leadership, and Wildlife Protection to the world stage.”
She expressed pride in representing “a new wave of climate leadership from Pakistan rooted in innovation, inclusion, and shared responsibility for our planet.” Maryam Nawaz also highlighted her anticipation for “meaningful stakeholder dialogues with world leaders, scientists, and innovators to advance shared solutions for our planet’s future.”
