Grief Fuels Expansion of Turning Point’s Campus Footprint
Charlie Kirk’s murder has led to an increase in conservative college students starting Turning Point USA chapters, aiming to advance civil discourse.
According to Turning Point USA, founded by Kirk in 2012, the organization has received thousands of requests from students interested in starting new chapters or joining existing ones following Kirk’s death.

RaeAnna Morales, a political science major and media director for the College Republicans at Vanderbilt University, expressed her shock and sadness after Kirk’s assassination.
Critics, however, fear that the group’s expansion will exacerbate tensions on already fractured campuses.
