Featuring crisp drums, a vocoder-enhanced chorus, and shimmering synths, "Showbiz" presents a romantic indie pop vibe. The production, handled by Williams and her collaborator Daniel James, evokes the smooth, syncopated grooves of Phoenix. Williams previously sampled Phoenix’s 2017 song “Fior di Latte” on her track “Love Me Different.”
