Ukraine's Special Operations Forces (SSO) announced on November 7 that their long-range drones hit an oil depot and several logistics facilities in Russian-occupied Crimea.
The strike targeted an oil depot near the village of Hvardiiske, about 20 kilometers north of Simferopol. According to the SSO, a full RVS-400 tank used for storing oil and petroleum products was destroyed.
"Special Operations Forces continue to act asymmetrically in countering the enemy's military capabilities," the SSO stated in a Telegram post, sharing drone footage of the attacks.
The Russian occupational administration in Crimea has not publicly commented on these claims, and the information could not be independently verified by The Kyiv Independent.
The SSO also reported drone attacks on other oil depots, fuel storage facilities in Simferopol and nearby areas, and two trains carrying petroleum products at a loading site.
