Peloton has voluntarily recalled 878,800 seat posts used in its Bike+ exercise models after multiple incidents of the seat post breaking during use, posing a risk of serious falls and injuries.
Peloton initiated the recall after three seat post breakage reports resulted in injuries to two users. The company took immediate action to address the potential safety hazard.
“The integrity of our products and our Members’ well-being are our top priorities,” said a Peloton spokesperson.
Customers who own the affected models are advised to stop using the bikes until replacement seat posts are provided.
