Mark Richt, former head coach of the Georgia Bulldogs and current ACC Network analyst, addressed recent online rumors claiming he was hospitalized. He firmly denied these reports in a social media post.
“Apparently, there’s something out there on the Internet saying that I’m in the hospital. Not true.”
He added humorously about his appearance while running, which might have sparked the rumors:
“If you would have seen me running down the street today, it was so pitiful you probably would have thought I needed to be admitted to the hospital.”
“a momentary light affliction compared to the future glory in heaven.”
Despite health challenges, Richt is a regular presence on the ACC Network, sharing insights and analysis from his long coaching career.
