Channel Ten has faced backlash for bringing back familiar faces after it was revealed that one of the housemates on this year's Big Brother appeared previously on Deal Or No Deal.
Vincent, a 21-year-old barber from Victoria, appeared on the Grant Denyer-hosted game show in 2024. On the show, Vincent was supported by his grandmother and shared that he was competing for his large family.
"There's 108 great-grandchildren in my family!" Vincent told the stunned host Grant Denyer, aged 48.
During the tense episode, Vincent was left with two cases: one containing $50,000 and the other $75. He received a nerve-wracking offer of $18,800 to quit without opening them.
Fans quickly recognized Vincent as one of the housemates on the Big Brother 2025 reboot which premiered Sunday night. Their reactions flooded social media:
"Omgg I remember him lmaoo, someone posted him on TikTok and the girls were going absolutely feral over him. Knew I recognised him."
"If I had a penny for every time someone who has previously been on Deal or No Deal was cast on a reboot of Big Brother."
Vincent’s crossover appearance highlights Channel Ten’s trend of reusing reality TV personalities across different shows.
