Drivers experienced significant delays following a crash on the M25 clockwise near Surrey. The incident occurred around 6:15 AM, involving four vehicles, but thankfully, no injuries were reported.
Surrey Police confirmed the collision happened near junction 7 on the clockwise carriageway. A spokesperson stated,
“We were made aware of a collision involving four vehicles near J7 of the clockwise carriageway of the M25 shortly after 6.15am this morning. No injuries were reported, and the call was passed to National Highways.”
National Highways initially reported delays of up to 30 minutes between junction 5 (Sevenoaks) and junction 7 (M23). They later updated that delays had reduced to about 10 minutes as traffic gradually returned to normal.
According to Inrix’s latest update at 8:25 AM, “Slow traffic due to earlier accident on M25 clockwise from J5 M26 / A21 (Sevenoaks) to J7 M23. From a short hold earlier.”
The crash caused temporary disruption but was quickly managed with no injuries reported, allowing traffic flow to resume promptly.
