Buffalo Theatre Ensemble presents the concluding chapter of Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon’s holiday series inspired by Pride and Prejudice, titled “Georgiana and Kitty: Christmas at Pemberley.” The story follows the friendship between Georgiana Darcy, William Darcy’s younger sister, and Kitty Bennet, Elizabeth Bennet’s second youngest sister. Set on Boxing Day, the play explores their new careers and relationships.
Olivia Finkelstein stars as Georgiana, while Ksa Curry plays Kitty in director Connie Canaday Howard’s production, running through November 20 at the McAninch Arts Center, College of DuPage, Glen Ellyn.
Christopher Donahue returns for a second year as Ebenezer Scrooge in the Goodman Theatre’s 48th staging of A Christmas Carol. This season marks the 25th year of veteran Gregory Hirte, who steps into the role of music director.
