Special Weather Statement for Ottawa
Update #1: Friday, November 7, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Ottawa.
Accumulating snow is expected on Sunday, November 9, 2025, with total snowfall between 5 and 15 cm. The snow will begin Sunday morning and continue into Sunday night, possibly prompting snowfall warnings.
“Motorists should expect difficult winter driving conditions and adjust their travel plans accordingly.”
Environment Canada cautions that poor weather could lead to transportation delays. Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to check the Current Students weather page for updates.
The university remains open, and all operations are proceeding normally, though travelers should take extra care when commuting to or around campus.
