The Peacock miniseries All Her Fault premiered on November 6 and stars Sarah Snook and Dakota Fanning. The show explores themes of motherhood, friendship, and resilience.
Based on Andrea Mara's novel, All Her Fault follows Marissa Irvine, played by Sarah Snook, as she goes to pick up her son Milo from a playdate—only to find that he has been missing for hours. Jake Lacy portrays her husband, Peter.
“The show speaks to what the female resilience is required to be,” said Sarah Snook in an interview with PEOPLE ahead of the premiere.
Dakota Fanning, who plays Jenny Kaminski, reflected on her character’s domestic challenges and the imbalance in familial responsibilities.
“A big point of contention for Jenny is her domestic life with her husband, who doesn’t see all the things that go into making the house run and ensuring their child is cared for,” Fanning explained.
“It’s a lot, and it’s hard when the balance isn’t equal. Friends and girlfriends are the most important relationships. Playing these characters has reminded me of that,” she added.
Jordana Comiter, an Associate Editor on the Evergreen team at PEOPLE, has been with the publication since 2024. Her work has also appeared in Women’s Health Magazine, PopSugar, VeryWell Mind, Business Insider, and The Chicago Reader.
