Tracking Fall-Like Temperatures in Houston — But for How Long?

Temperatures in Houston are dropping quickly tonight, giving a real fall feel. Clear skies and low humidity allow the mercury to fall efficiently through the 50s and into the upper 40s in some areas.

The morning will start in the lower 50s with sunny skies, and the afternoon high will reach near 80 degrees.

Weather Pattern Changes

By Wednesday, winds shift more southeasterly, which will increase temperatures and raise humidity slightly. Morning fog is possible on Thursday and Friday, with a slight chance of rain expected on Sunday.

Early in the week, temperatures remain in the 70s, warming into the 80s by midweek. They will stay warm until the next front brings a small chance of rain on Sunday, which might cool things back down into the 70s again.
