Amy Schumer Flaunts 40lb Weight Loss During NYC Stroll
Comedian Amy Schumer, 44, displayed her noticeable weight loss while enjoying a makeup-free Sunday walk near Central Park in Midtown Manhattan. The actress credited the transformation to Mounjaro, a GLP-1 agonist medication she started earlier this year to help manage her weight.
"Amy definitely has lost a lot of weight in the past three months," said functional nutritionist Monica Partier in an interview with the Daily Mail on October 24. "She seems to have dropped at least 40lbs and is around 130lbs now, which is very slender for a woman who is 5ft7in. And she looks a lot happier and proud of her improved wellbeing."
Standing 5ft7in tall, Schumer is reportedly the slimmest she has been in decades. The comedian has proudly shared photos of her toned figure on Instagram, where she often posts snapshots of her healthier lifestyle and renewed confidence.
Schumer, who underwent liposuction in 2022, said she is pleased with the results of Mounjaro, sharing with her 16.6 million social media followers:
"I'm loving being on Mounjaro and I haven't found that it's affected anything negatively."
In the past, she had described a "horrible experience" with Ozempic in 2022, explaining she was bedridden due to severe nausea.
