Kalispell will soon have a new workforce housing complex located along the Parkline Trail. The project has secured funding through the Montana Housing Tax Credit Program, which supports affordable housing developments.
The developer received $8.3 million to build this housing complex intended to help meet the demand for affordable workforce housing in the area. The location along the Parkline Trail offers convenient access for residents to transportation and recreational opportunities.
"This investment will provide much-needed affordable housing for our local workforce and enhance the community’s growth along the Parkline Trail," said a project spokesperson.
The new complex aims to support workers by providing stable and affordable living options, which is crucial for maintaining Kalispell’s economic health and growth. This development aligns with regional efforts to address housing shortages impacting local businesses and employees.
This project represents an essential step in addressing housing needs for Kalispell’s workforce, combining strategic location with substantial state funding to support community sustainability.
