Pentagon Orders Switchblade 600 Kamikaze Drones for Ukraine
The United States has finalized a contract to supply Switchblade 600 loitering munitions to Ukraine, according to a document released on the Department of Defense website.
- The contract includes the purchase of Switchblade 600 kamikaze drones, which Ukraine had previously requested.
- The purchase contract was concluded on September 15, with AeroVironment as the awardee.
- The total amount of the contract is $2.2 million.
