UDOT Adds Traffic Light to Heber's Coyote Ridge Intersection

Heber drivers can expect a new traffic light at the intersection of Coyote Canyon Parkway and U.S. 40, aimed at increasing safety.

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) has installed the traffic light, which is expected to be operational by the end of the week, according to regional spokesperson Wyatt Woolley.

"We have to wait for it to dry out, and then we've got to paint some lines on the roads,"

Woolley stated on KPCW's "Local News Hour". After completion, UDOT will conduct testing to ensure proper function.

"If everything goes according to plan, it should be up and running by this Friday,"

Woolley said, with the alternative being the following week. The new light aims to improve safety for left turns into and out of the Coyote Ridge neighborhood.
