The Rowan County Championships for cross country were held on Saturday morning at Dan Nicholas Park, proving to be a successful move from the usual weekday schedule.
“It turned out that we had phenomenal weather conditions to compete in,”
Said South coach Trent Rivers. The new schedule allowed for great times, with many runners achieving personal records (PRs). This led to the Raiders winning their seventh team championship in the last eight seasons.
