NotebookLM Upgrades Video Overviews with Nano Banana
NotebookLM is introducing a significant upgrade to Video Overviews with the help of Google's Nano Banana image editing and generation model.
Two new Video Overview formats are now available: Brief and Explainer. Additionally, six new visual styles have been added:
- Whiteboard
- Watercolor
- Retro print
- Heritage
- Paper-craft
- Anime
Google wants to "help you understand and remember" sources by generating "helpful, contextual, and beautiful illustrations."
To access these new features, select the pencil icon in the Video Overview tile of the Studio panel.
