The Maclean-Cameron Animal Adoption Center was recently overwhelmed with dozens of animals rescued after Cascade County deputies uncovered a large-scale animal cruelty case in Sun Prairie, Great Falls.
According to Katie Ober, executive assistant at Maclean, many of the rescued animals lacked basic training, such as leash training, sitting, and potty training. She noted,
You could tell that a lot of them most likely hadn't been leash trained. A lot of them didn't know how to sit or things like that.
After several weeks of care at the center, the animals are now available for adoption. For more information, visit the Maclean-Cameron Animal Adoption Center website or watch a video report by Erik Johnson.
