Champions League Format to Change Again in 2027/28
Liverpool fans will have to adapt to another change in the Champions League format.
The new format, which features one 36-team table, has been seen as a positive change after its introduction.
UEFA and representative clubs have decided to make another alteration, starting from the 2027/28 season.
Previously, the number of Champions League fixtures changed from six to eight from the 2024/25 season, with four home and four away games.
Perhaps fuelled by that success, UEFA and their representative clubs have now decided to make one more alteration to proceedings.
