Man Arrested for Allegedly Sending Inappropriate Texts to Minors
A 69-year-old man from Juelsburg, Colorado, identified as Franklin Martin, was arrested on October 10th for allegedly sending inappropriate text messages to minors.
The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) made the arrest after parents discovered the inappropriate messages on their teen’s phone.
- Martin was booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility on charges related to the incident.
The MCSO said it’s possible there are other victims who’ve had similar contact with Martin.
Officials are asking anyone who had contact or knows someone who had contact with Martin to call the non-emergency dispatch at (970) 242-6707, as the case is currently under investigation.
