Party Animals Win Inaugural Banana Ball Tour Championship
The 2026 Banana Ball schedule was released on Thursday, but the current season concluded on Saturday night with the Banana Ball Tour Championship Final at Grayson Stadium.
The final match was between the Party Animals and the Firefighters, with the Party Animals emerging as champions with a 4-0 win. Starting pitcher Garett Delano played a crucial role, tossing seven innings and registering five strikeouts.
“We dance, we do all kinds of stuff, we work fast, but I just focused on pitching. I felt like a pitcher again, and I’m better that way,”
said Delano, who has been with the team since 2022. The Party Animals advanced to the final with wins over the Tailgaters, while the Firefighters beat the Bananas to secure their spot.
