Golden Knights Fall to Kraken in Overtime
The Vegas Golden Knights lost 2-1 to the Seattle Kraken in overtime on Saturday night at Climate Pledge Arena.
Jared McCann scored the game-winning goal for Seattle with less than four seconds remaining in overtime.
Pavel Dorofeyev scored the lone goal for Vegas, his fifth of the season, leading the NHL.
The Golden Knights are now 1-0-2 through three games this season.
- Seattle led 26-16 in shot attempts and 11-4 in scoring chances in the first 20 minutes.
- Six of Seattle's scoring chances were of the high-danger variety.
Neither team was able to break through in the opening 20 minutes.
Despite the loss, the Golden Knights' puck movement improved, and Adin Hill had a strong performance.
