Armagh Man to Run Dublin Marathon in Memory of Father

Darren Lennon, from Armagh, will participate in the Dublin Marathon to honor his late father, Malachy Lennon, who passed away unexpectedly last year.

The marathon will take place on October 26, and Darren aims to complete the 26.2-mile course while raising funds for the Irish Heart Foundation.

Darren's father died from an undiagnosed heart condition in November 2024, and the family is still coping with the loss.

On November 23, it will be a year since dad passed. It still feels like yesterday he went to work as normal. His absence is just as raw now as it was then. He is spoken about daily by us all, and we want to keep his memory and legacy alive.

Darren's run is a personal tribute to his father, and he hopes to raise vital funds for the Irish Heart Foundation.
