Demolition of Lekki Property Sparks Controversy
A Nigerian company, Skyewise Group, has denied reports that a recently demolished luxury car lot along the Lekki-Epe Expressway in Lagos belonged to popular auto influencer, Ola of Lagos.
The clarification came after social media claims suggested the facility, which was pulled down last Saturday, was owned by the influencer known for showcasing high-end automobiles online.
Videos of the demolition sparked outrage, showing heavy-duty equipment flattening luxury car display stands along the busy Lekki corridor, a hub for automobile dealerships.
The facility, which was pulled down last Saturday, was not owned by Ola of Lagos.
Skyewise Group debunked the reports, putting the controversy to rest.
