United Way Donates to Palouse Habitat for Humanity
United Way of Whitman County has awarded $2,000 to Palouse Habitat for Humanity to support the installation of free ramps for households in need.
The Ramps & Rails program is designed to help elderly residents, veterans, and people with disabilities enter and exit their homes safely by designing and installing accessibility ramps.
- In 2024, the Ramps & Rails team completed 50 repair projects.
- The team is on track to complete another 50 projects this year.
