Former Police Chief Appointed as Kronenwetter Village President
Current Village of Kronenwetter Trustee and former police chief Dan Joling has been appointed village president.
Former village president David Baker resigned earlier this month, and Joling will serve the remainder of Baker’s term, which runs until April 2027.
The vote to appoint Joling as president was unanimous, 5:0, with Joling abstaining from the vote.
- The Village will be taking applications to fill the open trustee seat left vacant by Joling.
- Those interested in filling the open seat are asked to complete and submit an application by Tuesday, Nov.
- The Village Board will review the submitted applications during an open session and vote to approve one of the applicants to complete Joling’s trustee term.
