The 2025 Nacra 17 Worlds at Cagliari concluded with an exciting final day, featuring a new format inspired by Sail GP.
The top ten teams competed in a Medal Race, with the top four teams advancing to a final race to determine the top three spots.
- British and Italian teams had a notable fight in the four-boat race.
- The reduced number of boats made the scenario less dynamic and more predictable.
The dynamic turmoil of the last fleet race was gone with only 4 races on the course.
