Recently, the Gracious Mistress of the Parsonage asked me, "Have you come up with a new hobby yet?"
I've been retired for about four years and have been keeping busy with a weekly Sunday morning service at an assisted living facility, several writing projects, and producing three weekly radio programs.
When asked to define a hobby, the Gracious Mistress of the Parsonage said,
A hobby is something you do for fun.
I replied,
Perhaps my marriage to you is my primary hobby.
This conversation took place four years ago, and my routine remains unchanged.
