Pennsylvania Attorney Seeks Reinstatement
A disbarred Pennsylvania attorney, David Shulick, convicted of misusing school funds, argued before an ethics panel that he deserves a second chance.
Shulick, a former well-known education contractor for the Philadelphia School District, claimed the disciplinary committee unfairly ignored his remorse and wrongly assumed he had directly profited from the scheme.
He accepted responsibility for his role in the scandal but maintained that no court had ever found he personally embezzled money.
Shulick urged the Disciplinary Board of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to reinstate his license, citing regret for his actions.
