Mattel Executive Robbie Brenner shared her reaction to a recent screening of the Masters of the Universe Director's Cut, stating she was "[I was] blown away" by the experience.
Mattel is bringing its famous franchises to theaters, following the success of Barbie, which grossed over $1.4 billion at the worldwide box office in 2023. Next up is the live-action Masters of the Universe movie.
"I went and visited the set last year, and out of all the movies that I’ve worked on in my entire life — even Barbie — it was [the biggest]. I think we took over two or three sound stages. [Characters] walking around that are eight feet tall."
