Heavy flooding hit portions of Western Colorado, but now the rain is clearing.

A 60% chance of moisture in the forecast led to widespread rain from midnight until sunrise. Drizzles are expected this morning, but will eventually fade by the end of the day.

The remnants of the storms associated with Tropical Depression Raymond are dissipating. The Grand Junction area has seen significant rainfall, with 2.29 inches since Friday and 2.33 inches since the start of the month.

According to historical records, the average precipitation for October is 0.40 inches, and records have been broken with the rainfall over the last several days.

The National Weather Service has renewed a Flood Watch for Southwestern Colorado.
